Stroud Micro Dairy is in its fourth year of trading. Our membership comprises 270 families that collect from the farm with a turnover of £88,000 and a growth rate of 70% last year. Doorstep deliveries which have just started will see this growth continue.

Due to personal circumstances we will reluctantly have to step back from active farming for a period from August 2020 onwards. We wish to pass the baton of Stroud Micro Dairy onto someone new – either as a straight sale or via a share farming agreement. This is a fantastic opportunity as our Landlord, Oakbrook Farm, has just raised £130,000 to go towards improving the infrastructure on the farm including tracks, fences and a new barn. Added to that we are a community supported farm with all the support and security that that entails.

What we are looking for are committed and enthusiastic individuals who will expand on what we have built to ensure that Stroud Micro Dairy continues to serve Stroud and its surrounds over the long term. If you are interested please email kees@stroudmicrodairy.co.uk with your CV and cover letter detailing your experience to date and why you want to run a micro dairy. We will be back in touch as soon as we can to discuss next steps.
