Have you changed how you run your market stall? Veg box collections? Farm shop?
Please share your experiences and challenges here.
At Tyddyn Teg we have a self service farm shop where people on the veg scheme collect their veg weekly and anyone can buy individual items. We’ve made the following changes:
putting in a hand washing sink next to the shop.
putting hand sanitiser in the shop for customers to use.
Any salad items or loose greens put back into sealed bags for the time being to avoid rummaging.
Disinfecting and cleaning surfaces in the shop, plus the door knob as much as possible throughout collection times
Doing a one in one out policy for customers as our shop is small.
We don’t normally deliver boxes but we have offered this to customers who are especially vulnerable to coronavirus.
We have also had offers of help from customers who are happy to deliver for others.
