Requests for work, volunteering or internships

Academic/Research Enquiries

Please look at the Agroecology Research Collaboration to see if it fits your area of research/work.

Membership Support / Advice

Currently the LWA does not have capacity or resources to help individual members or potential members on their specific projects, farms or programmes. We get a lot of requests for individual support and would love to have the time to respond to each request in full. We are fundraising for a new role for somebody to focus on membership support and services as we have identified it is a gap in our offering so please watch this space. Having said that, if your query is critical and urgent please email info@landworkersalliance.org.uk including the word URGENT in the subject header and it will get picked up and we can try our best to help.

Contacting Individual Staff

Please take the time to explore our staff page here to see who the most relevant contact for your enquiry is.

GRWPIAU FFERMWR I FFERMWR

Mae grwpiau ffermwr i ffermwr yn creu cyfleoedd ar gyfer cyfnewid rhwng cymheiriaid ar gost isel. Mae nifer o grwpiau wedi eu sefydlu gan aelodau Cynghrair Gweithwyr y Tir yng Nghymru, Lloegr a’r Alban, ac rydym yn gweithio i ddatblygu rhagor ohonynt.
Gan amlaf, bydd grwpiau yn ymgynnull ar ddechrau’r flwyddyn er mwyn penderfynu pwy fydd yn cynnal sesiynau a pha bynciau fydd yn derbyn sylw ganddynt. Mae’r grwpiau wedyn yn cyfarfod yn fisol ar ffermydd aelodau i archwilio’r pynciau, rhannu profiadau ac edrych ar enghreifftiau ymarferol.
Mae grwpiau ffermwr i ffermwr yn syml i’w trefnu ac nid oes costau sylweddol ynghlwm â’u gweithrediad. Maent yn arf effeithiol ar gyfer rhannu profiadau a gyrru arloesedd a chydweithio.

GWAITH DAN HYFFORDDIANT

Mae hyfforddeiaethau ar ffermydd, lle mae newydd ddyfodiaid yn gweithio ochr yn ochr â ffermwr, tyfwr neu goedwigwr profiadol am dymor neu ddau, yn llwybr pwysig i gael mynediad i weithio ar y tir, ac yn chwarae rôl prentisiaeth anffurfiol i lawer o bobl.
Rydym yn cydweithio ag aelodau sy’n cynnig gwaith dan hyfforddiant i wella cysondeb yr hyfforddiant a ddarperir, ac i grwpio aelodau o fewn yr un ardaloedd i ddarparu’r elfennau theoretig ar y cyd ac i drefnu ymweliadau a chyfnewidfeydd fferm. Trwy wneud hyn, ein nod yw gwella’r profiad hyfforddi a sicrhau fod yr hyfforddiant o ansawdd uchel.
We are working with partners including the Soil Association and Organic Growers Alliance on a jointly endorsed curriculum for horticulture traineeships. This will help members to be clear about the knowledge and skills a trainee needs to develop, and will give trainees an overview of what they can expect to cover.
We have also developed a suggested curriculum for what you can expect to cover during a traineeship in horticulture. Our online version with links to resources for self-directed learning can be found yma (English) and yma (Cymraeg) and a printable version yma (English) and yma (Cymraeg). We’ve jointly developed this resource with the Organic Growers Alliance and Soil Association, with funding from Resilient Green Spaces.

RHWYDWAITH SOFRANIAETH HADAU

Mae Cynghrair Gweithwyr y Tir yn cydweithio â mudiadau eraill i ffurfio Rhwydwaith Sofraniaeth Hadau yn y DU. Ein nod yw cynyddu cynhyrchiant a dosbarthiant hadau agro-ecolegol sydd wedi eu tyfu yn y DU er mwyn gwella cynaliadwyedd a gwytnwch amaethu a thyfu.
Rydym yn cefnogi hyfforddiant wrth dyfu hadau ar ffermydd, yn ogystal â datblygu perthnasau rhwng ffermwyr sy’n gweithio â hadau agro-ecolegol sydd wedi eu harbed ar y fferm.
Gweler y calendr digwyddiadau ar gyfer digwyddiadau sydd ar y gorwel
