Join us for a visit to Knockfarrel Produce near Dingwall in Scotland to explore how they have developed different aspects of their farm business and especially at what routes they are using to get their products to direct to their customers.
We will look at what different markets require, the infrastructure that is needed and how supplying different markets affects the way the farming operation is run. We’ll also touch on planning and environmental health requirements. We’ll also encourage you to start formulating a plan to get your own products to market.
This visit is aimed at new and established farmers and crofters who are interested in selling direct or supplying to customers through short local supply chains.
Spaces are limited and lunch is provided.
