Requests for work, volunteering or internships

We are currently not recruiting for any roles but please read our newsletters for any announcements. We currently do not offer any volunteer or internship placements directly with the LWA, but keep an eye out in the newsletter or on the forum for any members looking for volunteers or workers.

Academic/Research Enquiries

Please look at the Agroecology Research Collaboration to see if it fits your area of research/work.

Membership Support / Advice

Currently the LWA does not have capacity or resources to help individual members or potential members on their specific projects, farms or programmes. We get a lot of requests for individual support and would love to have the time to respond to each request in full. We are fundraising for a new role for somebody to focus on membership support and services as we have identified it is a gap in our offering so please watch this space. Having said that, if your query is critical and urgent please email info@landworkersalliance.org.uk including the word URGENT in the subject header and it will get picked up and we can try our best to help.

Contacting Individual Staff

Please take the time to explore our staff page here to see who the most relevant contact for your enquiry is.

Our addresses format is firstname.lastname@landworkersalliance.org.uk

Please bear in mind we all work part time and have limited capacity to respond to enquiries outside our core areas of work.

You can also find information under the About Us header about branch and regional organising, and identity groups within the LWA membership.

For any queries relating to press please email press@landworkersalliance.org.uk

Merchandise/calendar Enquiries

[ENGLISH BELOW]

Ymunwch â ni mewn digwyddiad gaeafol fel rhan o gynulliadau rhanbarthol Gweithwyr y Tir. Rydym yn croesawu pawb sy’n malio am ddyfodol ein systemau bwyd a ffermio yng Nghymru, boed aelodau neu beidio. Dyma ddiwrnod i ddod ynghyd, i rannu syniadau a helpu i adeiladu’r mudiad agroecoleg yng Nghymru.

Rydym yn dal i fod wrthi’n trefnu’r rhaglen o weithdai a sgyrsiau a byddem yn croesawu cynigion gan unrhyw un all ddysgu sgil neu hwyluso trafodaeth sy’n debygol o fod yn ddefnyddiol ac yn ddiddorol i’r sawl sy’n mynychu. Mae pynciau posib yn cynnwys: Cyllid ac ariannu torfol ar gyfer ffermydd bychain; offer a thechnegau i dyfwyr llysiau; sefydlu becws bach.

Hoffem i holl aelodau a chefnogwyr Gweithwyr y Tir allu mynychu ac os yw costau teithio yn rhwystr, cysylltwch â ni gan fod gennym rywfaint o gefnogaeth ar gael. Os ydych yn teithio gyda thrafnidiaeth gyhoeddus i Fangor neu Gaernarfon, mae’n debyg y bydd modd i ni drefnu eich casglu; cysylltwch â ni trwy info@tyddynteg.com os felly.

Nid oes modd i ni ddarparu cyfleusterau creche ffurfiol, ond mae’n bosib y bydd modd i ni gynnig rhywfaint o help gyda gofal plant yn ystod y dydd. Cysylltwch â ni trwy info@tyddynteg.com os ydych eisiau trafod hyn.

Join us for a winter gathering as part of the Landworkers’ Alliance regional assemblies. We welcome members and non-members who care about the future of our food and farming systems in Wales. A day to get together, share ideas and help to build the agroecology movement in Wales.

We are still arranging the programme of workshops and discussions and would welcome offers from anyone who can teach a skill or facilitate a conversation likely to be useful and interesting to attendees. Potential topics include: Finance and crowdfunding for small farms; tools and techniques for vegetable growers; setting up a small bakery.

We would like all LWA members and supporters to be able to attend and if cost of travel is a barrier please do get in touch as we have some support available. If you are travelling by public transport to Bangor or Caernarfon, we can probably arrange a pick-up; please contact us at info@tyddynteg.com if so.

We are not able to provide formal creche facilities, but may be able to offer some help with childcare during the day. Please contact us at info@tyddynteg.com if you want to discuss this.
