Join us for a visit to the inspirational Shillingford Organics near Exeter on 9 August 2022, to explore how they have developed different aspects of their farm business and especially at what routes they are using to get their products to direct to their customers.
We will look at different markets and what they require, the infrastructure that is needed and how supplying different markets affects the way the farming operation is run. We’ll also touch on planning and environmental health requirements.
This visit is aimed at new and established farmers who are interested in selling direct or supplying to customers through short local supply chains.
Spaces are limited and lunch is provided.
