Come and join us for a teaching to hear about growing more with less work from renowned American farmer Ben Hartman and author of the Lean Farm. This is a unique chance to hear from Ben how they use the lean approach to streamline their farming approach at Claybottom Farm in Indiana, and how these principles enable them to earn a comfortable living on less than one acre of land.
Joining us on the teaching day will be Charles Dowding talking about his no-dig garden at Homeacres in Somerset. Ashley Wheeler and Ellen Rignell of Trill Farm Garden in Devon will also give us a tour of Trill Farm Garden sharing how they make the business work and some of the techniques they use to maximise productivity but also stay rooted in their core principles.
Lunch will be provided.
Please be in touch as soon as possible if you have any dietary requirements or any questions about the event by contacting Dee at dee@staging.landworkersalliance.org.uk.
