You are warmly invited to the Landworkers’ Alliance AGM and Winter Shindig 2017.
This year we will be holding a three day event: in addition to holding our AGM, the event will be a celebration of working the land with workshops and skillshares, a regional assembly, political trainings, film screenings, story telling, music, dancing, delicious feasts with ingredients supplied from our members and local ales, a farmers market and seed swap, farm tours and more.
Everyone is welcome and we strongly encourage you to come for the whole time: if you are not yet a member or supporter of the LWA you can join up on the door, or if you just want to come and see what we are all about, have a chat and join in on the festivities you are welcome to come for the evening entertainment which starts at 6pm.
If you bring a mat and sleeping bag there is crash space available free of charge in the main hall. If you would rather a bed it’s £10 a night, you can click here to book it and money goes directly to Ringsfield Hall.
GETTING TO THE AGM
We would like to encourage as many people as possible driving to car pool to the AGM. We have set up a spreadsheet here for people to self organise carpooling. Please add you details to the spreadsheet if you can offer spaces in your car or if you are looking for a lift.
We have a number of bursaries available for Landworkers’ Alliance members if money is tight and the cost of travel and a ticket would prevent you coming. If you would like a bursary please get in touch with our membership coordinator Dee at email@example.com.
PROGRAM OF EVENTS*
Our detailed program of events will be available shortly. We will share it on our social media and newsletter once we have finalised workshops and entertainment.
